The licence field
Set license once on the feed; override it on any listing. use is one of:

credit_required and backlink_required say whether the publisher's name and a link to the original are mandatory. A receiver that cannot meet the terms must not publish the listing.
Who is credited
- publisher — who sent the feed.
- listing_office — who holds the listing, when that is someone else (co-brokerage, an MLS). The receiver credits the listing office.
- agent — the person to contact. Shown only when the publisher includes it.
What Caribe Scout commits to
- We never take credit. Every listing shows who listed it and links to their page.
- We follow the licence field. A listing marked
idx-personal-useorno-republishis never shown publicly. - Where there is no feed and we read a public website, we respect robots.txt, crawl slowly, credit the agency the same way, and invite them to take control of their listings for free. Sites whose listings are MLS/IDX data are not crawled.
- Leads go to the listing's owner, free. We do not sell contact details.
- Removal on request. Email partners@caribescout.com and listings are removed within two working days.
- Photos are copied only to display them faster, never edited, watermarked or resold.
